IRIS Nights : Paul Lange "Good Light Stories – Nuances, Shadows and Reflections on Seeing " (7/27)

“My intent is to examine the fine line between reality and fantasy inherent in life— and in nature. All of my photographs tell a story of life, from the expression in someone’s face to the subtle bend in a tree, and in the dynamic living panorama crafted by human and natural forces. In my photographs I document those fleeting moments and spaces that might otherwise be lost or overlooked.”

In his Iris Nights lecture, Paul Lange will speak about the importance of light in his work and how visual ideas connect to a bigger story, illustrated with images taken from throughout his career. The event is free and passes available tomorrow (Wed) at noon and Thursday at 9:30 am here and here.
