LADIG "Real World Photography with the iPad" (5/11)

Join LADIG webmaster Daniel Sofer as he shows you how the iPad can enhance your photography workflow. This presentation is centered on using the iPad to augment your DSLR and computer for planning, capturing, and processing your photos:

+ Scout locations, find out when and where the sun will set.
+ Download photos from your camera to your iPad for evaluation, backup and processing.
+ Use the iPad in a tethered photo session to evaluate your photos.
+ Take your iPad on the road and leave your laptop at home: the pros and cons.
+ Using your iPad with Lightroom and Photoshop on your computer, some surprising ways to increase your productivity by using both.

In addition, Jon Moeller from Digital Fusion will talk about eBooks on the iPad, and our own Greg Dyro will bring along his latest wacky hacks for your information and amusement.

For the public, the cost is $20. For LADIG (Los Angeles Digital Imaging Group) members is there is discount and you'll have to log in to LADIG to see your price.
