Albert Watson is one of my favorite photographer. I discovered his book "Cyclops" while working at a bookstore back when I was 19. His latest books are UFO, a 40 year retrospective as well as "Strip Search", his five year project exploring Las Vegas.

Thank you for sharing this interview. I really enjoyed it! I could relate to what Albert said about his old school days and how tough it was back then with the instructors and learning the "craft" side of photography. That is how it was for me when I went to college back in the 80's. It was the days of film and the instructors were in their late 50's and 60's and some had been fashion photographers in New York. They were strict! It was a great experience learning from them!
