Bill Lagattuta "Made in Frogtown"

"Years ago, I asked architect Frank Geary what some of his favorite spaces were. Without hesitation, he replied, “artists’ studios.” He believed that a visit to an artist’s workspace was a rare privilege, a unique insight into the creative mind." - Bill Lagattuta

Nested between the 5 and 110 is Elysian Valley or as fondly called Frogtown based on accounts from long-time local residents ascribes the name to a connection between the annual exodus of frogs from the river into Elysian Valley. With the Frogtown Artwalk is coming up in September, Bill Lagattuta photographed the artists of this community as well as their studio over at his website Made in Frogtown.
