New York Photo Festival has a photo competition "Audio Visual" open for submissions until Sept 19, 2011. Entry fee is $25 for 3 images (or short film/video). Jury includes Maria Cukr of Live Nation, Ruan Dombal (Pitchfork), Michelle Ediziano (SPIN magazine), Meghan Foria (The Metropolitan Opera), Daniel Power (powerHouse Books) and Sam Barzilay (New York Photo Festival).
85 images will be selected for an exhibition @ powerHouse Arena from Oct. 19 to Nov 3rd. FAQ here
