Photography Book Now meet-up: Los Angeles (10/6)

This year's Photography Book Now competition's winner is Judith Stenneken's look at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin before being converted to a park in 2010. Tempelhof built in 1927 was one of Europe's three iconic pre-World-War-II airports. You can see some of the pages online here or if you happen to have some free time this Thursday, Blurb (sponsor of the PBN competition) will be hosting a meet-up at Mandrake over on La Cienega Blvd. As part of the global celebration, cities from Paris to Berlin to Toronto will have meet-ups to celebrate Photography Book Now.
Join us on Wednesday, October 6 for light appetizers, drinks, and great company at The Mandrake as we celebrate the 2010 winning books and the people behind them.

The Blurberati will be there as well as lots of creative types like you! The event is free and open to all. RSVP today to get on the list.

You'll get a chance to see the other winners such as the editorial winner 893 Magazine – The Yakuza in Tokyo photographed by Anton Kusters, fine art winner Barcelona Unfolds by Arthur Tress and portfolio winner WassinkLundgren as well as the runner-ups
