Photographed over a three-year period, (Fredric) Roberts’ vibrant images capture everyday life observed during extensive travels throughout remote areas of India. The essence of Roberts’ work emanates from the relationships he forms with his subjects, revealing intimate moments including early-morning prayers and ordinary domestic chores. The photographs elegantly illustrate Roberts’ mission to explore the spiritual wealth of people whose most valuable assets are their deep connection to faith, family, and long-held cultural mores.
