Ken Gonzales-Day joins LACMA’s Associate Curator of Photography Edward Robinson for a conversation about his new work, PROFILED, and topics ranging from freedom, class and gender to the location of the soul. PAC Prize-winning artist Ken Gonzales-Day lives and works in Los Angeles. His photography-based interdisciplinary and conceptual practice explores the history of the medium, the construction of race, and the limits of representation, ranging from the origins of racial profiling to museum display.”
