Ari Marcopoulos "Now is Forever" (9/23)

Now is Forever is a travelogue of previously unpublished photographs from around the world. Premiering for the first time at Project Space will be “Moroso Crew”, a 60-minute cinema vérité documentary Marcopoulos shot in 1992 on illegal drag racing in Brooklyn and the Bronx. The exhibition also celebrates the launch of the Camera Bag collaboration between Incase and Ari Marcopoulos, available late September.

Ari Marcopoulos, a photographer, film artist and adventurist who began his career in New York City assisting Andy Warhol, transplants himself into the intimate lives of people living on the edge. Artists, snowboarders, skateboarders and musicians have been both muses and commercial subject matter throughout his quarter-century-long career as a photographer. His stunning landscapes and playful portraiture offer a dramatic take on every day life and a glimpse into all things awesome.

Ari lives and works in New York and California.

Opening Reception: Thursday September 23, 7:00 – 10:00 PM
