In 1996, Jim Goldberg's Raised by Wolves was released. Spanning 10 years, Jim photographed the homeless teenagers in LA and SF. In his latest work focuses on the exodus of refugees, immigrants and victims of human trafficking coming from countries ravaged by war and economic crises to remake their lives in Europe. His latest book is the first of that series called "Open See"
This coming up Thursday, Jim Goldberg will be speaking at the Hammer Museum in Westwood as part of their Hammer Lecture series at 7pm. The event is free, no RSVP required. Tickets available first come first serve and is available at 6 pm. Details here.
