American Dollhouse exhibition TONIGHT

American Dollhouse is Manic and Muse’s first production event– a theatrical exhibit that will transform an art gallery into a life-size dollhouse circa 1955. Fusing together performance, music and art installation, American Dollhouse will give audiences the opportunity to explore the various rooms of the iconic dollhouse, witnessing the private lives of the family that inhabits it. Within this seemingly perfect American household, we see a family plagued by routine, struggling to maintain a façade of perfection in the face of their darkest secrets. As the performance ensues, their deepest desires begin to take hold, and we see a family, once trapped within the confines of the American Dream, about to break free. In addition to the performances, audiences will be able to experience fine-art installations from a variety of established and emerging painters and photographers, with live music composed and performed by Chris Barnett and ensemble.

The artists being exhibited are :
