IRIS Nights - Mark Fisher (1/6)

Fisher’s lecture will focus on action sports images, especially skiing, from personal projects and professional assignments throughout Alaska, North America, and the Himalayas, among other locales. Whether it’s hanging from a Helicopter in the middle of winter in remote Alaska or skiing from 25,000 feet in the Himalayas, he will not only highlight the spirit of adventure, but also the story behind the shot. In addition to still imagery, Fisher will highlight the rapidly evolving world of DSLR videography with a clip from his recent expedition to 8014meter Mt. Shishapangma in Tibet.

Mark Fisher will be speaking Jan 6, 2011 over at The Annenberg Space for Photography for their IRIS Nights series. Registration goes today at noon and Thursday at 9:30 am. Check here for passes.
