There's a new assistant-related website out there called Assistant List. Originally started in Minneapolis, they plan on expanding their reach to other markets such as Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and Chicago.

Beside listing for First and General Assistants, there's also digital techs and even assistant stylists. The interface looks clean and simple judging from their Minneapolis list.

I did notice there is a list of questions familiar to assistants - when I started out assisting in the 90s, questions were like, do you have a truck, do you know 4x5 / 8x10, do you have experiences with which strobes. The two new ones that I noticed on their listing is experience with Capture One and Lightroom. You can click on the photos above to enlarge or just head to their site and poke around.

Currently their Los Angeles section isn't up yet but I'll post about it once it goes live.
