Opening reception to the 20th anniversary of photoLA is this Thursday, January 13, 2011, 6:00-9:00 p.m over at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. This event besides being a preview night also benefit for the Wallis Annenberg Photography Department at LACMA. Honorary hosts are William Eggleston + Steve Shore. The party then heads over to the Monsoon Cafe (1212 3rd St Promenade Santa Monica, CA 90401) where The Equation presents: photo l.a. + artLA projects AFTERPARTY from 9 pm to 1 am rsvp@theequation.org .
