Siren: An Exhibition, featuring underwater photography by Christy Rogers and sculpture by Jule Rotenberg, will be on exhibit at the Spring Arts Galleries, in Downtown Gallery Row from April 9th to April 11th. The opening reception will be hosted by two-time Emmy award winning actress, Michelle Stafford of “The Young and the Restless.”
As a tribute to the allure and irresistible beauty of the Siren, Rogers and Rotenberg transform two different mediums into a breathtaking assemblage of the raw female form, one using fire and the other water. The show unfolds into a story about beauty, longing, seduction and the aesthetic adventure of the female body.
Even though the reception is on Sat 4/11 from 8pm - 11 pm, I noticed the press release mention it will be available to the public on Thursday (4/09) as part of the Downtown Art Walk
