Heroes for Autism (4/19) @ Avalon

This Sunday, the cast & crew of Heroes are doing a benefit called "Heroes for Autism" over at the Avalon in Hollywood. Up for auction will be artworks done by the cast and crew of Heroes. I first found out about this from Chris Haston who does stills for the show. Chris has been working on a personal project called "Riding With Mary" and is one of the 23 artists who have donated works up for silent auction. All funds will be donated to Autism Speaks.

Together, the cast of NBC’s hit show HEROES, Sheryl Crow, Rainn Wilson, Nikka Costa, celebrity band, “Band From TV,” “Wendy and Lisa”, NBC, and Autism Speaks, are working to increase awareness and raise funds for Autism research at the first ever HEROES FOR AUTISM fundraiser.

You are invited to join us at the famed Avalon Hollywood for a star-studded evening emceed by Rainn Wilson from THE OFFICE and featuring a VIP cocktail reception and silent auction showcasing mixed-media artwork from the cast and crew of HEROES, alongside pieces from 12 of the world’s most celebrated Autistic artists.

Later, celebrity band, Band from TV, featuring Greg Grunberg, Adrian Pasdar, Hugh Laurie, James Denton, and Bob Guiney will blow the roof off of the joint—warming up the crowd for the musical stylings of Wendy & Lisa and their all-star band including: Nikka Costa and Sheryl Crow, among other special guests.
