Downtown Art Walk (4/9/09)

Yup, time for the Downtown Art Walk again ! Thursday noon to 9 pm. So in addition to the art, Metropolis Books will be hosting their second annual salute to National Poetry Month with the Downtown Poets. 7:00 pm. (440 S. Main St.)

And you know that Kogi Korean BBQ truck that everyone in town seems to be raving about ? They'll be parked over at Pussy & Pooch over on 564 S. Main St. from 7-9 pm.

Rendezvous Lounge at the Kyoto Grand Hotel: receive Happy Hour prices all night with your Art Walk Map.

And there's a new gallery on the block, Federal Art Project at 316 W. 2nd St (between Broadway and Hill). They'll have their grand opening during this Art Walk 6 - 10 pm.

In conjunction with MOPLA, there's two events going on at the same time :

Hello Giants Artists @ Farmers and Merchants Bank (Main/4th St). Catch works from Aaron Ruell, Blake E. Marquis, David Black, David Calderley, Jeremy & Claire Weiss, Jess Holzworth, Laura Crosta, Lauren Dukoff, Michael Schmelling, National Forest, Seth Smoot, Shirley Kurata, The Cobrasnake and William Lemon III.
