Looks like a local Meetup.com group "Photographers and Digital Artists of Los Angeles" is hosting Beate Chelette, a photography business coach who runs PhotoSecrets. I met Beate about 6 or 7 years ago when I had a job interview with her at Beate Works, a syndication house she started in 1992. She had since then sold Beate Works to Corbis, became their Sr. Director of Photography of Entertainment for a number of years before coming a consultant.
So next Sunday Feb 21st, she'll be over at Melrose Lightspace giving a seminar on how to run your photography business effectively and how to find and keep your clients. Price is $20 bucks.
