Yup, this morning, Mayor V,Department of Cultural Affairs manager Olga Garay and a host of other art leaders had a press conference to announce January as LA Arts Month to encourage Angelenos to check out the many institutions and programs we have here in LA.
If you check out the LA Arts Month website, there's already a list of events posted up. The calendar seems a bit disorganized and I didn't see some of the art walks listed but I'll run through some events besides what is posted on the calendar list.
