+ It is Art Walk time again...this time in Long Beach ! The Long Beach Art Walk runs from 4 pm - 10 pm. Linden Avenue will be closed to the traffic and turned into a street art fair. LINK

+ Hot Dog Death Match ! Yup, not photo-related but CAN be. “Do you have the guts?! Do you want the glory?! Throw the Pepto in your holster, fling caution & your cholesterol to the wind, and join us! Once more into the bratwurst breach!”. The folks at la.metblogs will be taking a tour of Pink's, Oki-Dog & Skooby's. There'll be contests for best costume, best hot dog haiku, etc. Read all about it HERE.

+ Cella Gallery in the NoHo Art District is celebrating one year with "Art In Review", a chance to catch some of the works you may have missed from the previous year. 5229 Lankershim Blvd. 91601. + Today is the last day to catch "Entitled" UCLA Undergraduate Senior Exhibition over at New Wight Gallery 1100 Broad Art Center 90095. Hours for Sat is 2-7 pm. LINK

+ Last day for "1,000 Days": painting, photography, sculpture, drawings by seven artists" at SCION INSTALLATION L.A. 3521 Helms Ave in Culver City

+ Sunday is the last day to catch Wang Qingsong's exhibition at Hammer Museum in Westwood.

+ Northridge Outdoor Photography Meetup Group will be meeting at Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge for some shooting. INFO

Next week is the last week to go over to the Stephen Cohen on Beverly to catch "SHIBUI : Six Japanese Photographers 1920s - 2000"

Also Sebastiao Salgado: AFRICA is still up at Peter Fetterman Gallery in Santa Monica. Don't worry, it'll be up till November.

The Japanese American National Museum is free all day on Saturday thanks to Target Free Family Saturdays. There'll be events for kids from 11 am - 4 pm and on Sunday, the Museum of Latin American Art is free thanks to Target 11 am - 5 pm.

Ending Monday is Elizabeth Beristain's photography series "Madonnas" @ Fremont Gallery in SoPas (or South Pasadena for non-Angelenos)

Ending in another week is "L83 Ang3les" over at the Annenberg Space for Photography so catch it while you can !
