This Thursday over at Annenberg Space for Photography, Helen K. Garber will be giving a talk at their IRIS Lecture Nights.
Helen K. Garber will present her project: Urban Noir/ LA-NY - a series inspired by the visual elements of film noir, the language of pulp fiction and the rhythm of bebop jazz. It is meant to motivate appreciation of the urban landscape as well as promote historic preservation. As an extra special treat, accomplished television and film composer John Beasley will accompany the lecture with a live performance his original score of Urban Noir.
