A&I Hollywood will be having a reception for Christy Rogers this Thursday at 933 N. Highland Ave 90038
Join us August 6 from 7-10pm at A&I Hollywood for the opening reception of a selection of photographic artwork by Christy Rogers. At the event, Christy will be signing copies of her new fine art book. 50% of exhibit sales go to Breast Cancer Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization that identifies – and advocates for elimination of – the environmental and other preventable causes of the disease.
Within the dark and shadowy spaces beneath the surface of her favorite pool, Christy employs the unpredictability of time and water to challenge the senses of perception and the human form. Her images are created in-camera as the result of careful experimentation between photographer, subject and the elements of light, water and motion.
