Downtown Art Walk Photography Preview

So the Downtown Art Walk runs every month from noon to about 9 pm - varies depending on gallery and whatnot. usually it starts getting busier around 7-ish. The major cross street I say would be 5th St & Spring St (90013) but there's venues all over downtown. I've dug around web for a few hours and found these photography events.

LoftSeven is doing a group show "Indian Summer". Koury Angelo will be showing his iPhone series “Perspectives!”. Photos were taken on his iPhone and processed through CameraBag. LoftSEVEN Penthouse 219 W. 7th Street, 90014

Over at Todd/Browning Gallery, there is a photography group show. Jessica Robertson, Kelly Smith, and Tiffany Trenda. Jessica's work is the photo above. I laughed when I saw it. I call it "dolls doing bad things" TODD / BROWNING GALLERY 211 West 5th Street 90013

BTW : Tiffany will also be performing "Entropy", an interactive video installation on the same night at Rowan Building at 5th and Spring Ave at 7 pm, 8 pm, 9 pm, 10:15 pm and 11 pm. So she'll be half a block away from the Todd/Browning Gallery.

Gary Leonard's "Take My Picture" gallery is showcasing his "The Billboard Show: Selling the So-Cal Lifestyle. Photographic Landscapes of the 1950s and 1960s.” Tonight he'll have Word performance by Ed Rosenthal and Jack Skelley at 7:30 pm. 860 S Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90014

Robert Frank's "The American" is currently on exhibit at MOCA and as part of the Downtown Art Walk, it is free from 5-8 pm today.250 S Grand Ave 90012

Ona Kim's "Fanfares" which just open recently is on exhibit at PYO Gallery. Bad news, they close at 6 pm. 1100 S. Hope St Suite 105 90015

"Visibility Project" by Christine Pan & Mia Nakano over at Infusion Gallery A collective portrait of female, trans and gender queer Asian Americans. Infusion Gallery 719 S. Spring St 90014

Rex Bruce "Inversions": images of the L.A.skyscape as a meditation on the climate crisis, photographs and video. 7+FIG Art Space (2nd floor) 735 S. Figueroa Street 90017
