+ Tonight over at Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, they'll be screening "The September Issue" doc w/ Q&A with director afterwards. 7 pm. $15. Film opens on September 11, 2009 here in Los Angeles.

+ Aperture’s Summer Sale has just been extended to August 17, 2009 Limited-edition prints and portfolios are 15% off and you can get an additional 15% off already-reduced books if you use coupon code APADV9 during checkout. Some exceptions apply. Stock up !

+ Also, APA/LA is doing another seminar “Beauty Retouching Secrets by Lisa Carney and Dennis Dunbar.” It is NEXT Saturday (Aug 15th) 9 am - 3:30 pm @ Helms Daylight Studio in Culver City. Not up on the APA site yet, but info is up on their Facebook page. I suspect it'll be "live" later on. Curious what the cost is for this seminar...I might make it out for this one....

+ Sort of old news. Strange when I say old news, it is last week. With the internet nowdays, old news probably means anything past 24 hrs ! lol ! Anyways, I found this last Friday and never got around to posting this link : What the Jackanory talks to WIRED creative director Scott Dadich about Dan Winters, Brad Pitt and "How to Behave : The New Rules" spreads. Great little behind the scene shots over at Quixote.
