Events this Weekend (August 21-23)

+ I'll be honest, there doesn't seem to be much in photo-related events this weekend and traditionally August is a slow month in general. Although there are other art events, I'm attempting to keep this just photograpahy-related. If you like to see what else is going on this weekend for art, here's a list of links I usually use :

ArtSlant
FlavorPill
ForYourArt
THEmagla

+ This weekend Samy's is doing a seminar called "Pat Darrin's Movie Making Using The Hybrid DSLR" which interestingly enough, I just posted another stills/video event yesterday called "Collision Conference". Pat Darrin's event runs this weekend Sat & Sun 10 am - 5 pm at Smashbox in Culver City. The link is here and the "register" is working which means there are still seats available. FYI : If a Samy's event fills up, they disable the "register" button.

+ Oh, for those of you who missed the last A&I Fine Art Book Making Seminar, fear not ! A&I will be doing another seminar on Aug 26th Wed. 6:30 - 9:30 pm Be one of the first 30 poeple to RSVP and get a 20% discount on any book. Must attend seminar to receive 20% off book coupon. Not valid with any other offer. Please RSVP to Events@AandI.com
