Hmm...found this on Facebook today. Melrose Lightspace have been in business for many years - I've met the owner Peter probably a decade ago ? The spot is a cozy rental studio over on Melrose by Fat Beats record store...yes, I still use the term record store...in my days, there were records ! Besides a studio, they also have private parties, art shows and classes. They got about 1,600 sq feet, hardwood floors and they have special that if you rent the same day or next, it is only $150 instead of their usual rate. If you are around in the area, give him a call and check it out.
