"A Photographer's Transition from Still to Moving Pictures" (10/10)

Funny, almost everytime I watch "Reverie" the Canon 5D MK II short film, I think of Heat, Moby and Bourne Identity - mostly because of the music used :) But in any case, I'm sure those watching this have already seen it. Vincent LaForet shot this way back in 2008. I'm sure he's got tales to tell of pulling off that short film and you could ask him yourself this weekend as he is giving a seminar called "A Photographer's Transition from Still to Moving Pictures" this Saturday October 10th from 9 am - 5 pm at a post production house in Hollywood.

...will spend the day leading a hands-on education workshop designed exclusively for still photographers looking to move into the world of digital filmmaking. He will take you through some of the most common technical and creative challenges still photographers are likely to face as they make the transition from the still to the moving picture, and discuss advantages and disadvantages of other digital film solutions on the market.

The cost is $525 and you can find out more info here.

Saturday October 10th 9 am - 5 pm
