For those who don't know Clickers and Flickers it is a local photography group probably best known for their dinner lecture series. Every month, a photographer or photo professional will speak about their work. Past folks include Julius Shulman, Jim Marshall, Marvin Rand, Melvin Sokolsky, Jim McHugh among others. C & F has been around for 21 years and individual membership start at $55 a year but you don't have to be a member to attend the dinner - for non-member it is just $59 if reserved 5 days in advance and $65 afterwards. This month's guest is Fine Art Fetish Photographer and Author Steve Diet Goedde
C&F was honored to have Steve as a guest speaker in February 2000 and November of 2003. He returns to give a presentation of new work with live commentary. He will show photographs taken in his trademark black and white style in addition to his experimentation with less-than-professional photographic methods. Q&A is encouraged during the presentation on everything from technical to aesthetic issues. He will also be discussing his Goedde Concerto CD, a recent multi-media collaboration with French classical composer Robert Waechter.
