Angels Flight

In tribute to yesterday's reopening of Angels Flight, I dug around UCLA's and USC's Digital Collections for images of the shortest train line in Los Angeles from the past 100 years.

From 1901 to 1969, the original railway was located 3rd & Hill. In 1996 Angels Flight was reopen half a block south of their original location and operated until a tragic accident in 2001 where a passenger was killed and several injured. Now nine years later, Angels Flight rides again
