PIX CLICKS : ASMP "dpBestFlow"

On Saturday morning, photographers gathered in Santa Monica, CA for the dpBestFlow seminar. This ASMP initiative funded by the Library of Congress is aimed at giving photographers the tools they need. Judy Herrmann and Jay Kinghorn were on hand for the four hour seminar to give photographers here in Los Angeles an opportunity to learn how to best tailor their workflow to better productivity as well as learning how to manage their files better.

Many of the topics covered today can be found at dpbestflow.org and they do have a seminar tour going on right now so check their schedule to see if they are coming to a city near you. Below is a video from their website to explain what dpBestflow is all about.

BTW : there is also another ASMP seminar series traveling the country called "Registration Counts", a free two-hour free workshop on registering your images with the copyright office open to members and non-members. June 5, 2010 is their Los Angeles stop with Jeff Sedlik. Currently the location is to be determined but you can sign up here
