Fresh + MOPLA

Trolling around the blogsphere, I happen on Photo Exchange run by Douglas Stockdale who is based down in OC. Today he mentions the Fresh ArtFairs running during MOPLA. Fresh composes of two parts :

FRESH FAIR - Sell Your Work Directly to Collectors (April 24th-April 26th)
Fresh Fair is a photography fair designed to feature both new & established artists to collectors and gallery representatives from around the world. It is juried in advance to ensure that quality work is exhibited and that excellent standards are met. Fresh Fair presents the opportunity to sell your work directly to the public and collectors alike, and offers a one-of-a-kind glimpse of the latest trends in photography.

Friday, April 24th: 6 - 9 p.m. VIP Opening Party
Saturday, April 25th: 12 - 7 p.m.
Sunday, April 26th: 12 - 6 p.m.

FRESH LOOK - A Juried Work Review (April 24th + April 25th)
Fresh Look is the emerging photographer's answer to one-on-one career guidance with the photography industry's decision-makers and top creative minds. Fresh Look provides critical and constructive feedback to your photographic work and is geared toward photographers who have a visual style and aesthetic, have created bodies of work and are ready to take their career to the next level. It offers the opportunity to present your work to the industry's decisions makers, from gallerists to editors, publishers and creative directors.

Friday, April 24th: 10 a.m. - 2:35 p.m.
Saturday, April 25th: 10 a.m. - 2:35 p.m.


Submission deadline to the Fresh Look is March 27th and is $50. If you make it through, it'll be $200 ($250-$50) which includes meeting with 6 reviewers for 20-minute intervals.
