PIX delivers

You and I and everyone else knows how traffic is gotten worse over the years. Y'all know to avoid the major freeways during rush hours and Friday/Sat nights and traffic often shows up at odd times that you can't even predict. So if you have to shoot something, you make sure to get out extra early to get over to the rental place and pick up gear but you probably have days where the traffic is just incredible bad due to construction, film production, accidents, whatever natural disaster strikes.

Or worse what if you had to fly into Los Angeles for a job and have to get a rental car and find the rental place then have to find the shooting location ? Wouldn't it be great if my gear is magically appear at the location or hotel ?

No, PIX hasn't developed any Star Trek teleportation technology (yet) but PIX does deliver ! They started this last fall but not even sure how many of y'all out there knew this. And the starting cost of this ?

$5 bucks.

Yup, $5 bucks. That is a cup of coffee or a sandwich from Trader Joe's or maybe downtown parking after 4 pm.

And yes, conditions do apply ! (Do you know anything that doesn't have restrictions ?) So let's break it down. PIX divides the city into different areas depending on zip codes and prices accordingly.

$5 West Hollywood / Beverly Hills / Hollywood
$10 Downtown / Culver City / Venice / Santa Monica
$20 Valley and South Bay

So here's the conditions :

1) The rental/sales is to be $25+ but I figured that won't be too much of a problem - most gear rents for more than $25 a day anyways.

2) Delivery done normal hours Mon-Fri 8 am - 6 pm. You can do it earlier or later, or weekends but the rates will double.

3) Has to be under 150 pounds.

This is for one way only but round-trip is available. Rushs (within 3 hours) are extra too. Sub-rentals may be extra. All the info is over at pixcamera.com
