War on Photographers (UK edition)

*sigh* This boggles my mind...arresting a guy twice in a course of a few hours on suspicion and there's no proof of any wrongdoing. This video seem to have been produced last year and was found on 1854, a blog of The British Journal of Photography.

  1. He's Irish.

Much of the UK's anti-terrorist legislation was not written post-9/11 - it was written in the 1970's to deal with the IRA terrorism. As such, Irish people have always been especially subject to arrest and interrogation for suspicious activities in Britain. Sad but true.
