Hey wanna publish a book ? And win $25,000 ?
Okay, submit to PBN + Blurb's juried competition that just announced today. This year, one of the jurist is Darius Himes, co-founder of Radius Books in Santa Fe, NM. The rest will be announced later.
The categories are simple : Fine Art, Commercial and Editorial. Deadline is July 16th and the entry fee is $35.
How do you do it ? Just make a Blurb book (great marketing idea) and submit it. You can submit as many books as you want as long as you have a separate entry and pay $35 for each one.
Hmmm.....$35 bucks and a chance to get work in front of folks may help you along your path ? That's $35 well spent ! Oh, the winning of $25,000 cash doesn't hurt either !

Oh, still haven't seen a Blurb book up close yet....I have heard folks who gives it a thumbs up and some who gives it a thumbs down. I'll report as soon as I get time to check one out.
